A HOCKEY REVOLUTION
ABOUT OUR DOCUMENTARY
Revolutionizing Hockey Through Inclusivity
1958 is a short documentary created by five Ryerson University, RTA: Sport Media students, featuring the lives and stories of successful black individuals in the professional hockey community. It deals with issues of discrimination and diversity while giving voice to those who serve as role models in both sporting and their ethnic communities. 1958 champions the idea that what will grow hockey, captivate audiences and unite fans will be diversity of storytelling from new perspectives.
